The Suber Report: Bye, Bye Style.com!
Fashion lost one of its greats last night around midnight - Style.com.
Much to fashion lovers' lauding or lamenting (you decide) we said goodbye to the sleek moniker yesterday to make way for VogueRunway.com. The destination for full collections fresh off the runway, front row coverage, and pointed critiques is now an e-commerce medium for Vogue.com.
While the fuss over Style.com changing its name may be mired in dramatics, there are legitimate concerns to be addressed. The biggest question remains whether or not Style... ahem, VOGUE Runway, will stay true to its editorial nature. We shall see.
